Remarks:

  1. Applicants of “Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Language and Literature” can opt for not taking Chinese Supplementary Paper. The result of Chinese Supplementary Paper will be counted as bonus marks on a pro-rata basis towards the result of Chinese Standard Paper. Admission selection for applicants who do not take Chinese Supplementary Paper will base on examination results of Chinese Standard Paper and other required subjects.
  2. New programme offered in 2019/2020 academic year:
    – Bachelor of Science (Business Intelligence and Data Analytics), programme information
    – Bachelor of Education (Integrated Science), programme information
    – Bachelor of Science (Bioinformatics), programme information
    – Bachelor of Science (Applied Physics and Chemistry), programme information
    – Bachelor of Science (Mathematics – Statistics and Data Science), programme information
  3. Students enrolled in the “Bachelor of Business Administration” programme will be asked to declare one of the following five majors: Business Economics, Global Business Management, Human Resources Management, Marketing, Financial Controllership.  Those who do not declare a major or do not follow a prescribed set of courses for a major will be conferred the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration with no designation of major of study upon graduation.
  4. During the 2nd academic year of Bachelor of Science in International Integrated Resort Management, students will select streams of “Gaming Management” or “Convention and Hospitality Management”.
  5. Applicants of “Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences” must be from a science stream and must have studied Chemistry and Biology in senior secondary school.
  6. Effective from academic year 2019/2020, the offer of programme “Bachelor of Arts in History” will be transferred from Faculty of Social Sciences to Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
  7. Effective from academic year 2019/2020, the offer of programme “Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (Mathematics Education)” will be transferred from Faculty of Science and Technology to Faculty of Education while the programme name will be retitled as “Bachelor of Education in Mathematics”.
