Students participating in the 3+2 TU Programme will undertake their first three years of undergraduate study at UM and be directly admitted to the graduate school of Temple University (TU) in the United States. They will study at TU for another two years to complete both their UM bachelor’s degree and the TU master’s degree.
Participants in the 3+2 TU Programme will receive a bachelor’s degree from UM and a master’s degree from TU upon completion of the Programme.
Target Students:
- All registered undergraduate students; and
- Students who are in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Students who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and successfully completed the specified course requirements for their bachelor’s degree during their first three or four years of studies at UM will be eligible to apply for the 3+2 TU programmme. A TOEFL or IELTS score will be required during application and the final decision on admission to the 3+2 TU programme will be solely at the discretion of TU.
Kindly note that students who do not have remaining undergraduate requirements prior to their arrival at TU are not eligible for the 3+2 TU programme.

Considering students admitted to the 3+2 TU programme will be required to pay tuition fees for both UM and TU, as well as cover living expenses in the US during their study abroad period at TU, UM has approved the following arrangements:
- Students’ UM tuition fees for the study abroad period at TU will be waived; and
- Students’ UM scholarships, prizes and subsidies will be suspended during the study abroad period at TU;
- Students will be required to bear the tuition fees and the living expenses in the US during the study abroad period at TU.
