Students participating in the 1+2+1 ECNU (Mathematics Education – Mathematics and Applied Mathematics) Programme will undertake their first year and fourth year of undergraduate study at the UM and complete their second and third year at the East China Normal University.

Participants in this Programme will receive two bachelor’s degrees, one from the UM (Bachelor of Education in Mathematics) and the other one from the ECNU (Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics) upon completion of the programme.

Target Students:

  • Hong Kong and Macao students (holders of either “Macao Resident Identity Card” or “Hong Kong Identity Card”, together with the “Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents”); and
  • BEd in Mathematics students who were admitted in academic year 2019/2020 onwards (MAS19); and
  • Students who are in good academic standing.

Students who are interested in the 1+2+1 ECNU (Mathematics Education – Mathematics and Applied Mathematics) Programme are required to review their enrolment records and study plans with the Faculty of Education (FED) during their first year of studies in UM.

Students participating in the 2.5+2.5 Fudan (Finance) Programme will undertake their first 2.5 years of undergraduate study at the UM and complete the rest 2.5 years at the Fudan University (Fudan).

Participants in this Programme will receive two bachelor’s degrees, one from the UM (Bachelor of Science in Finance) and the other one from Fudan (Bachelor of Economics (Finance)) upon completion of the programme.

Target Students:

  • Macao students (holders of both “Macao Resident Identity Card” and “Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents”); and
  • BSc in Finance students who were admitted in academic year 2020/2021 onwards (FNC20); and
  • Students who are in good academic standing.

Students who are interested in the 2.5+2.5 Fudan (Finance) Programme are required to review their enrolment records and study plans with the Department of Finance and Business Economics (FBE) of the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) during their first or second year of studies in UM.

Students participating in the 2+2 SCUT (Civil Engineering) Programme will undertake their first 2 years of undergraduate study at the UM and complete the rest 2 years at the South China University of Technology (SCUT).

Participants in this Programme will receive two bachelor’s degrees, one from the UM (Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering) and the other one from South China University of Technology (Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering) upon completion of the programme.

Target Students:

  • Macao students (holders of both “Macao Resident Identity Card” and “Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents”); and
  • BSc in Civil Engineering students who were admitted in academic year 2020/2021 onwards (CVE17); and
  • Students who are in good academic standing.

Students who are interested in the 2+2 SCUT (Civil Engineering) Programme are required to review their enrolment records and study plans with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) during their first year of studies in UM.

Students participating in the 3+2 TU Programme will undertake their first three years of undergraduate study at UM and be directly admitted to the graduate school of Temple University (TU) in the United States. They will study at TU for another two years to complete both their UM bachelor’s degree and the TU master’s degree.

Participants in the 3+2 TU Programme will receive a bachelor’s degree from UM and a master’s degree from TU upon completion of the Programme.

Students who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and successfully completed the specified course requirements for their bachelor’s degree during their first three or four years of studies at UM will be eligible to apply for the 3+2 TU programmme. A TOEFL or IELTS score will be required during application and the final decision on admission to the 3+2 TU programme will be solely at the discretion of TU.

Kindly note that students who do not have remaining undergraduate requirements prior to their arrival at TU are not eligible for the 3+2 TU programme.

Student is suggested to apply for the 3+2 TU programme online on or before 20 March 2024.

Considering students admitted to the 3+2 TU programme will be required to pay tuition fees for both UM and TU, as well as cover living expenses in the US during their study abroad period at TU, UM has approved the following arrangements:

  • Students’ UM tuition fees for the study abroad period at TU will be waived; and
  • Students’ UM scholarships, prizes and subsidies will be suspended during the study abroad period at TU;
  • Students will be required to bear the tuition fees and the living expenses in the US during the study abroad period at TU.

Participants in this Programme will receive two bachelor’s degrees, one from the UM (Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences) and the other one from the QUB (Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Nutrition) upon completion of the programme.

Target Students:

  • Macao students (holders of “Macao Resident Identity Card” and “Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents”), Hong Kong students (holders of “Hong Kong Identity Card” and “Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents”), Taiwan and international students; and
  • BSc in Biomedical Sciences students who were admitted in academic year 2019/2020 onwards; and
  • Students who are in good academic standing (cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better) and can test out of at least one English language course.
