Macao and non-Macao students, but not to Mainland China students

Applicants with any of the following qualifications may apply for bachelor programme by Admission Examination(Joint Admission Examination):

1. Form 6 or equivalent graduates.
  • Copies of certificate(s) and academic transcripts for Form 6 or equivalent in secondary school.
2. Candidates currently studying in Form 6 or equivalent.
  • Copies of academic transcripts for the first semester of Form 6 or equivalent in secondary school.
  • If the Form 6 transcript is not available during the application period, applicants may submit the Form 5 transcript together with the page stating you are a current Form 6 student extracted from the DSEDJ student card (if applicable) or provide the testimonial to show currently enrolled Form 6.

Online Application for Bonus Scheme 2026/2027 (Application Period: 12th – 23rd January 2026)
Online Application System is open during the application period  (12th – 23rd  January 2026).

NOTICE: Applicants applying for “Bonus Scheme” also have to successfully complete all the application procedures within the application period of Admission Examination (2nd – 16th January 2026)

Results of the Bonus Scheme will be released together with the admission examination scores by the University in early May 2026.

Exemption from Taking Admission Examination Subjects 2026/2027
(Application period: 9th December 2025 – 9th January 2026)
Admission Examination candidates may apply for exemption from taking particular Admission Examination subjects if they meet the below requirement:

  • Chinese (JC01)

Applicants without basic education in Chinese Language and Literature during the last three years of study in secondary education may apply for exemption from the JAE Chinese subject. However, applicants who have applied for the programmes with Chinese as the medium of instruction must sit for the JAE Chinese; otherwise the application will not be processed.

  • English (JE01)

Applicants who have attained any of the following results may apply for exemption from the JAE subject English.

  1. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): Internet-based test : a minimum score of 80.
  2. International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Band 6.0 or above.

The above score validity period is two years from the test-date.

  • Mathematics Standard Paper (JM01) and Mathematics Supplementary Paper (JM02)

During the last three years of secondary school study, applicants who have been awarded the “First Class or Second Class Award” in the Individual Category of Inter-School Mathematics Competition organized by the Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) may apply for exemption from taking the JAE subject Mathematics Standard Paper and Mathematics Supplementary Paper.

NOTICE: Applicants who wish to apply for exemption from taking Admission Examination subjects for 2026/2027 must download and fill in above application form.  Then submit the application form with required documents to Registry during the application period.
