In 2020/2021, admission scholarship will be awarded to Malaysia student with excellent UEC and STPM result. Applicants do not need to apply for this scholarship while the grant of scholarship will be announced with the admission result together.

Scholarship for Outstanding Students (ASEAN countries) Studying in Macao
To strengthen exchanges between Macao and the Best-and-Road countries in the field of higher education, as well as attracting outstanding students from ASEAN countries to study in Macao, the Macau Higher Education Bureau (hereinafter referred to as “DSES”) via Higher Education Fund (hereinafter referred to as “FES”) set up the “Scholarship for Outstanding Students (ASEAN countries) Studying in Macao” to the outstanding Malaysian students with the most outstanding academic result or extraordinary achievement. The scholarship is very competitive and University of Macau will nominate two of the best students to DSES from the awardees of the “University of Macau Full Scholarship” who have submitted the “Offer of Acceptance” letter to confirm their studies in UM. Result will be announced in August.
- Full waiver of tuition fee and Residential College fee; and
- Stipend MOP 48,000 per academic year.
If the student has attained the required GPA in an academic year and fulfill the specified requirement from DSES, the scholarship can be continued during the normal study period of the programme concerned.
Scholarships for Current Student
New students may be granted the scholarships in the first academic year. Students may also apply for or be awarded other types of scholarships, which are provided by individual or entrepreneurial donors, based on their academic performance at the University.
